Clearly Automated is proud to announce that we’ve been awarded the Judges’ Choice Award at the 2019 Lutron Excellence Awards.
The awards were announced on Thursday, September 12th, in Denver, Colorado, where finalists and integrators from around the world gathered to celebrate the very best Lutron installations.

About the Award-Winning Project
This award recognises a complex and highly bespoke installation at the Avalon Wellbeing Centre at Broughton Hall Estate in Skipton, North Yorkshire.
The centre is a globally recognised retreat created to support mindfulness, meditation, and personal transformation.
Working closely with the interior design team, we specified, designed, and installed discreet technology solutions essential to preserving the aesthetic and meditative atmosphere of Avalon. The building’s purpose — to support mind, body, and spirit — meant that every technological element needed to be invisible, intuitive, and harmonious with the environment.
Sound design played a major role. On our recommendation, the designers selected Amina invisible speakers, chosen for their ability to deliver immersive, evenly distributed audio without disrupting the visual purity of the space.
The result is a soundscape that supports calmness, clarity and deep emotional connection — all without visible hardware.
To expand the room’s functionality, we also installed a full Dolby Atmos AV system featuring a 3m dropdown projection screen and 4K projector, allowing the space to be used for talks, film screenings, guided practice and events.
