About the project
We were asked to design a system for the lighting control, blind and window control, internal and gate intercom, gate control, CCTV integration, AV throughout, and cinema room, all working from a bespoke and simple integrated system.
The client’s core requirements were for the installations to be unobtrusive, easy to use, effective and reliable.
Our home automation solution
Unobtrusive. We designed the system to blend seamlessly into the home, ensuring cutting-edge technology remains hidden until needed. A mix of invisible Amina speakers and subwoofers provided immersive sound without disrupting the aesthetics, while TVs were concealed within custom joinery when not in use. In the lower ground floor, TV lifts, integrated soundbars, and invisible speakers maintained a sleek and clutter-free environment.
Easy to use. The system was designed for effortless control, eliminating unnecessary complexity. Lighting automatically adjusts using sensors and astronomical time clocks, with the homeowner only needing to interact when changing a scene. Audio and visual controls are easily accessible via remotes, tablets, phones, and touchscreens, allowing seamless operation throughout the home.
Effective. Every element of the installation was optimized to deliver superior performance. The AV and multi-room audio systems provided crystal-clear sound in open-plan spaces, while Amina invisible speakers ensured an immersive audio experience with smooth, even sound distribution across the home.
Reliable. A high-end smart home must function flawlessly, so we used only tried and tested products known for durability and performance. The system comes with a two-year parts and labor warranty and an eight-year limited warranty on lighting controls, ensuring long-term dependability. With remote access to key processors, we can monitor and maintain the system to keep it running at its best.
